Bio

'The Pub With No Fear' is an ode to the Australia we could be and should be. With this new track, SUDS wanted to turnaround their usual cynical approach to song-writing and release a song that was positive, joyous and upbeat, calling for everyone to come together.

It pictures Australia as a pub, the centre of a community, where "even if you don't drink, you're welcome here." It acknowledges that "the owners have had the place for like 65 000 years" and the rest of us "are boat people as well".

At a time when some serious soul searching is going on, 'The Pub With No Fear' calls for love, unity, respect, and above all, it says welcome!

The second bite of new self-produced music from SUDS - recorded DIY by their drummer Jesse Sewell - 'The Pub With No Fear' follows 2018's 'TRUMPauline', released after a support tour with one of their biggest influences, UK cult legends Future Of The Left.

Huge thanks to our good mates Kate Russell, Dana Hassall, Zane Harlem, Joel Cabbin and Joe Dolezal for providing guest vocals on both these new tracks!

What a rousing, welcoming, call to arms. Even the guitar licks sound friendly. Nice to hear some new gear (with no fear).
