This group of young slackers have been developing quite a back catalogue of trippy garage rock jams since forming in a dusty garage in Melbourne. Introducing the sweet, sweet sounds of Sugar Sandwich. The band was born when singer and guitarist Tom Lutrov made a few blissed-out tunes with bassist Scott White in 2016. Conor Walkeden liked the vibe and soon joined as drummer, with a stripped back drumming style that complimented the flow of the music. Angus Evans later tagged along as percussionist, guitarist, keyboardist and all-round good guy. Late 2016 saw Sugar Sandwich take their music out of the garage and into the studio to record with Paul Maybury (King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard) at A Secret Location.
