      Forming in late 2010 The Summervilles has spent just under a decade maintaining a stern DIY ethos; writing songs, spilling beer and winning hearts at endless gigs whilst cutting through the rough Melbourne music scene. 2018; The band returned to the shed in Bendigo where, after 18 months writing and recording, they finally release their 2nd full-length LP “All is Lost” completely DIY. 2017; The first take from a forthcoming release, “Keroscene Queen” attempts to juggle a commentary on social scene inner-circles through the eyes of nostalgia. Ultimately coming to a realisation of irony; rejecting a clique also becomes one. New bassist Tom Gillard’s first recording after joining the band in 2016. 2016: New bass player, Tom Gillard joins the band after his wife and Leigh's wife discover the two guys play instruments while talking at a party.
