Bio

Sunbather started with two new Brisbane housemates sharing small ideas in the converted basement studio of their Queenslander (a windowless concrete box, but soundproof-ish). Experiments with guitar layers and vocal harmonies led to the eventual creation of their debut 5-track EP. Their first single, 'Softly Spoken', was produced by Aidan Hogg at Plutonium Studios, with the help of Stu McKenzie (Good Boy, Future Haunts) on drums. Sunbather's debut EP, 'Brown Bread', will be released later in 2020.

Beautiful, luscious, hazy pop. Love the guitar layers, love the vocal. Doesn't sound like it came from the basement of a Queenslander but I'm glad it did.

I feel like this song has the same healing qualities as the winter sun, it's warming up my soul big time and I just want to lay down in a park and soak it all up.

Safe to say that if a song had fingers then I'd be wrapped all the way around this one's.
