Bio

The Sunday League make heart felt alt-rock that resonates from the Australian sounds of the late 80's to the American country jangles of the early 90’s. Having formed in Hobart, Tasmania, the band are now based in Melbourne and will launch their sophomore full length album 'Make it What You Want' on January 24. Their latest single titled "I Liked it When You Weren't Yourself" was featured as Song of the Day on KEXP and includes a film clip with flashbacks, hitchhiking and the age old dilemma of back and forth friendship.

i'm hearing some classic aussie songwriting sounds in here and it's letting the lo-fi charm shine through.

At first I thought Interpol. Then I thought Pist Idiots. The Sunday League landing somewhere in the middle and that ain't a bad thing.
