In 2011, Sunsets put out their first release “We’re In This Together”, which saw over 2,500 copies move both by digital download and hard copies at shows within the first 6 months of its release. Their follow-up EP "Make It Happen" gained continuous praise from Triple J Unearthed staff, previous Short.Fast.Loud host Stu Harvey, and AU Music Production's Steven Windolf, who subsequently managed the band for the remainder of their touring cycle. The first single taken from the EP, “Elsewhere Bound”, received an overwhelming reception upon its release. Sunsets bring their own take on the “easycore” genre to Australia with heavy mosh parts, catchy sing along choruses and huge group singing parts. Sunsets have supported both local and international heavyweights The Story So Far, Man Overboard, Silverstein, Tonight Alive, Dream On Dreamer, Trophy Eyes, Rufio, The Swellers, and Jonny Craig just to name a few.
