Bio

Surroundings make widescreen music. The name of their new album 'Glass Heart' sums up what listeners can expect - emotion, beauty, violence. Lead singles 'Paper Cranes', 'Chonesthesia' and 'The River's Edge' have struck a nerve with listeners, gaining Triple J airplay and six-figure video plays. It's not music for all the time, but it is music that will be part of your life for a long time.

Since 2012 the band have been working on their sound in their hometown of Perth and across the country, attracting fans around the world. For the past several years Surroundings have been meticulously putting together their second album, sparing no effort to ensure that what they've made can stand among the very best the world of heavy music has to offer. The results speak for themselves. This is a group of normal people who have pushed themselves to deliver something extraordinary.

Surroundings are proud to present 'Glass Heart', released 1 March.

these guys are repeatedly proving themselves as ferocious humans with that great ability of making their music unrelenting but also memorable and catchy enough for a wider audience.
