In a cosy wooden cottage in Cornwall, Tasmania Susannah Coleman-Brown lives, sings and writes. Susannah left the island to further her creative horizons (Melbourne, 2002-2010) inevitably returning home to 'roost'. Whilst in Victoria, she became a multiple prize winning graduate of the VCA and performed with artists such as Shane Howard, Alex Pertout, Tony Gould, Lou Bennett and Kutcha Edwards. Susannah has also composed for Jazz artist Christine Sullivan and studied under Jazz vocalist Nichaud Fitzgibbon and folk songstress Kavisha Mazzella. Susannah has been featured many times on ABC Local Radio and ABC Radio National’s Music Deli program as well as having sung backing vocals in venues such as the Iwaki Auditorium, Hamer Hall, Federation Square atrium and MONA. It’s been a varied 15 years of singing and playing. From tiny Tasmanian east coast pubs and Melbourne cafes to performances such as an outdoor summer concert in Assisi, Italy performing for the Archbishop of Canterbury! ...
