Artist:Swamp

Swamp are a three piece band from the Newcastle and Lake Macquarie region. Their diverse brand of rock, pop, blues and punk music ensures a great night for audiences young and old, every time they play. Front man Dave Fenwick has been playing guitar and writing songs for six years, and through his work with Swamp and previous bands has developed quite an engaging stage presence. Drummer Emily Coutts provides humble yet energetic beats and the occasional piano scale. Recently Bowen Weston, who worked with Dave in previous bands, has joined Swamp to fill out the sound with his contrasting lead and rhythm guitar skills. Much of the band’s musical inspiration comes from classic rock bands such as The Beatles, Led Zeppelin and The Rolling Stones, as well as similar, more modern artists like The White Stripes, Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins and No Doubt.
