Bio

A Swift Farewell is a 4-piece alternative/pop-punk band hailing from Sydney, Australia. The band consists of Dwayne Morris (Drums), Emma Mather (Vocals), Sarah Bonnet (Bass) and Ryo Sprott (Guitar & Vocals). They take influence from Tonight Alive, Stand Atlantic, With Confidence and many more.

Since their formation in 2019, they have played many shows across Sydney and made a name for themselves in the scene. It earned them the opening slot to the Hands Like Houses regional tour in Narrabeen. On stage, they combine high energy performances with catchy melodies and big riffs.

Their tracks got played on national radios and web radios, such as Triple J, Triple J Unearthed, The Faction.‘What You Wanted,’ charted number 73# on The Faction: Hardest 100 (2019) and ‘Breathless Breathing’ aired on Channel 9GO in the show ‘Amplified’.

“All in all, this release is a strong start for A Swift Farewell. It’s an easy listen and a perfect example of how a new band can collaborate with an experienced producer to make listeners know they aren’t here to muck around.’ - Ciara Allen, Hysteria Magazine

“A Swift Farewell have been breaking their way into the Sydney scene with brute force, providing a sound that's been in such a high demand while also providing energetic and captivating live performances. Right off the back end of them supporting the likes of Hands Like Houses and Young Lions and even arranging their own shows with friends and other locals; A Swift Farewell have generated their own hype and following in the Sydney punk scene.” - Afeef Iqbal, The Very Best Collective

“Punchy guitar riffs supported by that oh so comforting pop punk percussion and bass lines. There is a grit to the guitar that fans of the genre will appreciate.” - Stefan Szarski, DVOWR Magazine

Punchy AF "The Fire" hits you right in the chest mixed with those crystal clear vocals pierce thru you like a roaring wake up call, the kind I want.
