Sunshine Coast based outfit Swimsuit Issue write an intoxicating and diverse brand of Indie Rock. The band is influenced by the likes of Deftones, Faith No More, The National, Cigarettes After Sex, Pink Floyd and Dope Lemon. Swimsuit Issue debuted in 2020 with the release of their single ‘Hey You’. The single was the first offering from their upcoming debut album, set for release in 2021. The album was tracked live at Yama Nui on the Sunshine Coast with Steve Summers and Paulie B (George, Ziggy Alberts, Bobby Alu.) The album also features musicians such as Dorah Jacson and Jye Perry Banks (Fender, Stetson, Charlie Collins, Lee Kernighan, Kasey Chambers.) Swimsuit Issue have had a huge year so far, releasing their new singles ‘Addict’ and ‘The Feeling’. Both singles have been extremely well received, gaining airplay on Triple J, Triple M and many other radio stations around the world.
