Bio

It was a chance meeting with the legendary actor who played television's "The Milky Bar Kid" that first inspired our band to pick up some instruments and hit the road. It's since been six months, and we continue to play in his honour - and in his memory. Rest in peace, Milky Bar Kid.

THE LIFE AND TIMES OF THE MILKY BAR KID

Edward James Emulsifier, better known as the Milky Bar Kid, had a trying childhood. Born into a loving and supportive family, he had what many would regard as an idyllic early life. It goes without saying that after he was in those Milky Bar ads, he had an extremely difficult time at school and it completely destroyed him. And yet, many years on, he still had the grace and foresight to advise a group of young would-be troubadours to learn how to play various pieces of musical equipment and abandon their former careers and loved ones in favour of the "life de la musica". God bless you, MBK - your warmth, raconteurial wit, and overpowering odour of hydrogenated vegetable fat. You're with the angels now, but we'll always be here - to sing your sweet refrains and tell your tale.

This isn't doing much for me but I reckon if you're into super super sweet pop built on boisterous horns then maybe you'll dig it.

five stars on social media, two and a half here for a respectable amount of bounce and a strong recording. the songwriting and vocals are the things I think you could hone in on a little more.
