Recent surveys from the Buerau of Statistics have indicated that, on average, a one hour set from Symm contains: *8188 impacts on a massive kick drum *75 Tonnes of ground-shaking bass *2 tracks that reached number 1 in the Unearthed dance charts *87kms of altitude *10000 cubic meters of atmosphere. *8 epiphanies *4 cases of the hiccups *1 pumping dance floor. For the past one and a half years, Symm has been combining chunky bass lines with pulsating rhythms to create tunes with a clean sound that's heavy on the bottom end, and light on the ears. After starting out playing in nightclubs, Symm has progressed to local dance music festivals where the subterranean tones and melodic vibrations resonate throughout the forest, keeping the dance floor packed and the feet stomping. With two songs having reached number one in the TripleJ Unearthed dance charts, another peaking at number three, and a debut EP soon to be completed, 2009 has already proved itself to be a big year, and it's only going to get bigger. Playing at Forbidden Kingdom, a 3 day music festival, from November 13th-15th.
