Bio
Talking Trash aka Hannah Coakely has remained an elusive figure of the Perth scene since unofficially releasing an EP of demos in 2018 on SoundCloud and playing a handful of low-key shows. The EP instantly won the hearts of anyone who heard its poetic bedroom pop stitched with melancholy, witty lyrical play amongst an intimate and direct atmosphere (“Soliloquies / Unspoken reflections / You may think so, but you’re not an exception”). Now two years later, after growing musically and personally, Hannah is sharing her latest tales straight from the heart and into the world, backed by a full band, and playing stages across Perth. Hannah is also part of pop-folk band Smol Fish

Nothing more added to the recipe than the bare essentials and every part of it carrying weight. A lovely record.

One person's trash is another's treasure and that's the way I'm looking at everything Hannah's saying. Laconic jangle vibes with a distinct songwriter's voice.
