Artist:Tall Trees

Tall Trees Early in 2007, after ten years on our own musical paths and with a heap of original material up our sleeves, Dave and Tim Wells began "Tall Trees". A Indi folk rock experimental project. On a spontaneous Sunday afternoon in February 2007, we recorded a collection of original compositions, including one song "Rocket" which was nominated for 'Best Pop Song' in the ABC Newcastle Music Awards 2007. This experience also included an unforgetable live interview with ABC's 'Maynard' about sailing ships, bad shirts, and random dedications to animals. The recording would not have been possible without the help and divine inspiration of the following people Friends, Family, Tom, Casper, and Retty Red. At the age of 14 Dave started singing along with Crowded House tracks, bashing drums to old Brit pop songs, and later finding a creative challenge in playing guitar.
