    “…What is the Third Estate? Everything; but an everything shackled and oppressed. What would it be without the privileged order? Everything, but an everything free and flourishing.” Abbe Sieyes, January 1789. The Third Estate formed in 2003 and have been playing to a dedicated fanbase in and around Albury ever since. Their influences are wide and varied, from the most schizophrenic of metal and hardcore to the most intimate acoustic performers; from the most politically agitated and angst-ridden punk bands to the corniest hook-laden pop song. All funnelled into music that is fast and driving, energetic and emotional, heavy and aggressive. The singing is a blend of emotive melodies, violent screams and heartfelt croons, with lyrics that aim to inspire, inform, relate and affect. Their live show is intense and fierce in its delivery, reflecting the fervour and passion the boys have for their music.
