Artist:The Thylacines

the thylacines are a three piece psychedelic rock blues band formed in may 2010 and have played close to 50 shows in sydney. they are soon to release their debut single “hello sady” which was recorded with nick mainsbridge (who has worked with some of the bands’ favourite artists). the launch of the single is the 16th of june at the sandringham (newtown). the band are currently shooting a film clip for the single with lachlan thompson who has worked with the bamboos. john is from edinburgh. dan is from barcelona. jason is local. the band met while placing $5 bets on a horse race in an erskineville pub. each argued that they had picked a winner for sure. all 3 picked horses failed to win. the next morning, they were in a rehearsal room. the thylacines never write in capital letters and enjoy a drink. dan loves the old fitzroy in woolloomooloo. john lives likes kellys pub in newtown and jason likes all of them. dan has a beard. john knows everybody in sydney. aye.
