Bio

Tia Gostelow’s vocals ebb and flow from gossamer-draped lilts to arresting velvet timbres.
She matches her unique voice with rich instrumentals to create her distinctive style - contemporary folk and indie rock.
Inspired by artsy photography and fun, vibrant artwork, Tia brings an upbeat, pop vibe “everyone can dance and sing along to” with her new single, That’s What You Get.
One of Australia’s most promising emerging talents, Tia values the art of songwriting and creating music with integrity.
“I make sense of life through song. I really live and breathe music - it has to be sincere, from the heart. I think it’s beautiful when people can relate to songs in their own ways with their own stories.”
Tia followed up her debut solo single, the hypnotic and syrup-dipped State of Art, with Vague Utopia where her voice unfurls through a hazy, wanderlust scene.
She was stoked to earn 6 nominations for the 2017 Queensland Music Awards, including 2 wins, in Schools and Folk Singer/Songwriter categories, not long after gaining recognition from Triple J Unearthed, winning their 2016 Indigenous Initiative and, separately, a place in their Triple J Unearthed High 2016 Top 5.
Tia is working on her debut solo Album and looking forward to hitting the road on HUSKY’s Punchbuzz National Tour in June/July.

The only bone I have to pick is the duration of this one. I wish it was a bit longer but that's obviously because I just can't get enough of ya. And hey, a little T is better than none at all! Cannot wait to see you play again!

This is real gorgeous stuff from Tia. Primo soundtrack fodder for a coast trip I reckon.
