Bio

Indie pop darling, Tiarne struck a chord when she emerged in 2017 with captivating vocals and sentimental storytelling landing debut single, Kids, on immediate Triple J Unearthed rotation, reaching number 1 on the pop charts; as well as a finalist spot in the 2017 QUBE Effect Awards.

With songwriting and performances like a hybrid of Meg Mac and Vera Blue, the 23 year old artist blends organic musical elements with subtle electronic production to create intricate indie pop that music fans and industry tastemakers are loving.

Tiarne’s debut singles and EP, Bloom earned nationwide airplay on community radio, television and film features, including Channel 11’s Toasted TV and a spot on the Red Deer Festival bill, alongside some of her idols like The Preatures. Her song Golden and Young received major praise from 4ZZZ radio reaching the top 10 in release weeks.

Picking up the guitar at just 9 years old, Tiarne honed her craft at JMC Academy, moving to Brisbane five years ago to pursue a career in music, and continues to collaborate with producer and high school friend, Dylan Lindquist (Clawmachine/Soft Nylon/Pure Milk).

An honest, humble and wholly relatable artist, Tiarne is also a champion of the local music scene founding and hosting “The Bloom Series” - a regular showcase bringing together musicians and music lovers to celebrate live, local music. She has since created her own music agency Moonstone Artists which assists musicians in management, PR and events.

2019 has seen Tiarne focus on songwriting and producing. She received the opportunity to attend QMusic's renowned songwriting camp Amplify, where she collaborated with fellow artists such as Janeva. After spending time in her songwriting cave, Tiarne is excited to release new music in early 2020.

Wow, this is some stone cold gorgeous business right here. I love the pared back instrumentation that means you need only add the slightest production emphasis at the track's end and it feels like a landslide.
