Tilley’s newest record close. released in December 2018, places her intimate songs into vast, lushly layered landscapes created by producer D.A. Calf. Originally from beautiful Tasmania, where she studied at the UTAS Conservatorium, Tilley now creates, performs, and teaches voice in Melbourne's vibrant music & arts scene. Her wide range of musical influences spans blues to rock to funk & soul to jazz to folk, and more, and makes her work hard to define or categorise, in its own special musical world. Her first album, the crowdfunded Songs from a Cold Island (2012) is a full-length album of mostly solo songs written during her early career. This folky record features Tilley accompanying herself on ukulele, acoustic and electric guitar, and one song with a full band.
