Artist:Tim Woods and the dirty shoes

A very eye catching character Tim hits the stage with a unique presence and is a relentless entertainer. Originally from the muddy banks of Gippsland he now makes his mark each Wednesday hosting The Bender Bar Open Mic. Though his sound consists of Blues, Jazz and Funk his music is best described as groovy folk music, Tim adds witty and interesting lyrics of to his style, where the boundaries seem un-seeable. Joined by his Drummer (Duffman) “Tim Woods and the dirty shoes” have supported many local acts at venues around Thornbury, Fitzroy and Brunswick in recent times and There EP “It’s a toothbrush” will be out in late December. Tim has been doing gigs in Melbourne since 2005 and has played to many a warm crowd. Tim’s great entertainment value and at 6’10” in height he’s also a tall bugger. Cheers.
