Bio

Timothy Nelson fuses clever lyricism with unforgettable hooks; the guy has a bit of a reputation for putting out ear worms. With dozens of songwriting awards under his belt it’s no wonder the versatile Perth songwriter has collaborated with artists including the like of folk artist Liz Stringer to hip hop legend Drapht. But Timothy Nelson’s solo project draws influence from many of the great from decades ago presenting you with something entirely new, with ample helpings of something familiar.

Timonthy Nelson reminding the rest of the country why he's so highly regarded by his home state of WA. This is gorgeous storytelling - warmth, relatability, emotion, it's all there. Expect a wry smile and maybe a tear or two.

Such a perfect blend of genres here. Mastered so sweetly and finessed like a man who's at an exciting point with his craft. Felt like summer indeed, but I catch the irony and I like it because those dulcet tones paint the visuals so well.
