An exploration of multi-layered melody is at the heart of T I N K E R, the sophisticated solo project emerging from Brisbane’s blossoming music scene. What first began in 2012 as a creative outlet for former Glass Towers guitarist Chris Bristow has since grown into a distinct new melodic offering that bridges the electronic and alternative genres. Having spent years writing, recording and touring extensively as a part of numerous other musical collaborations, Bristow’s personal foray is an ethereal side-step from his previous projects. T I N K E R’s sound is complex construction of gentle guitar hooks and hynotising rhythm that touches on the act’s key influencers - Jai Paul, Vallis Alps, and The Japanese House. The project’s first release ‘Fill The Field’ was a testament to the act’s thoughtful approach to creation.
