Bio

The Tints are a 4-piece Indie Pop Rock band from Bondi. Blending pop structures with a nostalgic 80s and 90s rock aesthetic, the band have won over hearts with their catchy and, at times, vulnerable songwriting.

Formed in 2019, their members include frontman Lachie Pringle, drummer Maya Downes, bassist Ben Baker and lead guitarist Charles Cosgrove. The boys met at high school, bonding over their passion for guitar and songwriting, while Maya and Lachie grew up jamming and performing together.

Since releasing their debut single “Blame” in November 2019, the band have gained attention for their uplifting live sets at Sydney venues like The Lansdowne, Frankie’s Pizza by the Slice, The Vanguard and Waywards. With their debut EP, Kill The Light, released on May 1st 2020, there’s no doubt the best is still yet to come for this Sydney four piece.

it's a damn infectious mix and the tints are tracking in the right direction to win a lot of hearts.

This works really well. Charismatic vocal and the track is a bit shimmery but not afraid to play in the streets of gig-ready indie rock either.
