Artist:Tk and Rose

T.K. and Rose First conceived their unique Gypsy/jazz/reggae/folk sound on a road trip to uluru in 2006. After a run of shows in Melbourne they set off to the UK, where they further developed their repertore with the support of numerous local musicions. Their travel itinery included performances at Glastonbury festival, strawberry fair and various gigs throughout Europe. After recording their debut EP they left behind a much loved rythm section to return to Australia and peform as a duo. During their time in Australia Tk and Rose have gigged extensively in venues around Melbourne and have peformed at Fest La Frog, Maitreya, Healesville Music FestivalBuckleys Beats and Warrandite Music Festival as well as hosting the HolyCow Cabaret at Rainbow Serpent for two consecutive years. They have recently expanded into an exuberant five piece with a hard skankin, electric dance driven sound.
