Bio

Adelaide’s most wholesome and loveable duo TOWNS have been kicking goals of late, with a dynamite past few months cementing them as one of the country’s brightest up-and-comers.
2018 saw the release of the pair’s debut EP ‘Television’, which swept listeners off their feet from the first spin with its unique blend of 90s pop rock and Australiana. TOWNS also delivered their good-time vibes on the live side of things throughout the year, signing with Select Music and 27 Music and landing themselves on lineups with the likes of Turnover (USA), Turnstile (USA), Die Die Die (NZ).
This year the release of their ripper new single ‘Safe To Stay’ saw the duo embark on a national tour in support of Sydney rockers Dear Seattle, closely followed by an add to triple j rotation and a stint as Unearthed Feature Artist. The fan favourite also led TOWNS to take out the triple j Unearthed competition to perform at Adelaide’s Spin Off Festival alongside the likes of international stars Childish Gambino and Catfish & the Bottlemen, as well as local sweethearts Mallrat, Ball Park Music, Kwame and Hockey Dad.

In September the band firmly planted themselves on many a list of ones to watch following their explosive and record-breaking nine performances at BIGSOUND 2019. With an upcoming national tour in support of beloved Brisbane trio Bugs, and new music on the horizon, TOWNS are proving to be a dynamic and unstoppable powerhouse.

Watch out for TOWNS, stopping at a town near you soon.

The return of TOWNS? That's the sort of news that sets the tone for the rest of your day and today's tone is Good As Hell. Stardust is the perfect reunion: Warm, sparkly and melodic. We've missed ya.

TOWNS titled this song so perfectly cos it really does feel like they've coated this whole track in a magic blend of stardust that just gives it this extra lift. Call the air traffic control tower, TOWNS have taken off.

I slept on this for way too long. It's rough and gritty but also warm and comforting like hanging on the crappy porch couch with your mates.
