Bio

The Transatlantics have spent the last 12 months crafting their sophomore release Find My Way Home. Guided by the recording tradition of the analogue era, the band's individual take on southern soul embraces a more mature, altogether more heartfelt approach to song writing than many of their antipodean counterparts. Filled with carefully crafted songs replete with a deeply personal narrative Find My Way Home is reminiscent of the classics but by no means bound by its influence. Having travelled across the country to play at the likes of Falls Festival, Parklife and Big Day Out, this ten-piece collective continues to excite audiences with their dynamic Australian soul.

This track's got warmth just emenating from each instrument and vocal coo. Like Australia's decades-late response to The Marvelettes. I'm a fan.

I'm loving Australia's young bands loving soul again, good to see Adelaide following on from the likes of Melbourne's Saskwatch and getting a bit of classy retro chic on. Lovely.
