Artist:Trees for Ruru

Trees for ruru plays lo-fi dystopian alt-folk/alt-pop-rock songs and is the solo project of multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Leah Rangi. She writes about lots of things however, her music is heavily influenced by her experiences of growing up female, Māori and poor in the deep south of Aotearoa (New Zealand) in a coastal town called Dunedin. She is currently based in Melbourne.
