Some musical collaborations are just too good to let go. Tremolo Please started life as a Sydney-based solo endeavour, but has evolved into a three-piece of former bandmates, spread between Melbourne and Canberra. Guitarist Stephen Farrell (Ex-Kandy Apples, The Knife Waltz and expert mentals) has always experimented with new styles. As a solo artist, Stephen performed live with loop pedals and other effects, but found it limiting. A desire to play with different rhythms and tempo shifts required assistance, which came in the form of drummer Chris Natour, a former bandmate in prog rock noise trio, expert mentals. Tremolo Please was born. Now a duo, they could explore mixing music like drum n bass, dream pop and electronica with more organic, rock-based sounds. Tremolo Please's eclectic influences can be heard on their debut EP, Too Much, which saw them experimenting with diverse genres.
