Bio

Triggerlip is an alternative punk band from Perth, Western Australia. Having only been around since early 2018, the band has already released a handful of singles, as well as their debut EP ‘Your Dear Life’, which was recorded and mixed by Tristan Sturmer at Sumo Studios in Perth (Good Doogs, Shangrila, Jebediah and more).

In January 2019, the band supported Citizen (USA) and Turnstile (USA), on the Perth leg of their Australian tour, prompting airplay on Triple J Mornings.

“Triggerlip really do, for lack of a better word, trigger in you a sensation of utter loss, love and hope you didn’t know was within. This is the kind of EP that says it’s okay to be into emo-rock, particularly when it is this real and this good." - Hysteria Magazine (Rated 9/10)

They have spent the early months of 2019 refining their sound and gearing up for what is anticipated to be a fruitful year for the young band.

Yes, legends. Shoutout the little turnaround you got going on at the end of the verses. smart. Good song.

when trigger lip lay it on thick in those choruses there's real emotion and power.

It really soars hey! It's got this toughness to it, but also this sincerity. The delivery is solid. Great one guys!
