Trojan Pony formed in the winter of 2008 and has already begun to make its greasy mark on Sydney’s music scene. Comprising of former members of other local bands Trojan Pony is also known as the bastard love child Weighekochtes_I and The Kandy Apples and has emerged as a pop-punk/grunge-rock spawner. Founding members Justin Holt (vocals & guitar) and Nancy C. Mylott (vocals & bass) bid farewell to drummer and vocalist Pip Mackay at the beginning of 2009 and welcomed Max Farrell to the fold. Coming from diverse musical backgrounds the members of Trojan Pony infuse sounds of overdriven guitar solos with punchy bass lines, fast-paced drumming and unique vocal harmonies to stir emotions within the impressionable teeny-bopper to the hardened punk-rocker.
