      About

Debuting as a funk rock three piece in 2006, Trolls has now grown a body and legs to become an eight-piece ska party. The group has played regularly around the state from the Hobart pub circuit to sharing the festival stage with Pnau and British India at Soundscape 2009. They have been featured on ABC, Edge and Downunder Thunder Radio stations, and secured the Tasmanian support for ska legends Madness as well as interstate names such as Diafrix and Illzilla. Due to Trolls’ entertaining live sets and hard work, the band have been recognised as one Hobart’s most promising young bands and in early 2008 released debut album, “…Or You Will?”. In 2010, Trolls, an older and somewhat more mature bunch, released their sophomore album, “Little Boy Steven”, a predominantly ska album of almost two years work. Now 2011, after a break for world exploration, trolls have released the EP "Boys Time" featuring three news songs written in the new year.
