Bio

upsidedownhead is the brainchild of Musician/Producer Ross James. His debut EP is the result of many sleepless nights and years of scrapped releases whilst writing and recording between his studio and on the road as a touring musician. Wonky, beautiful, dark are all terms used to describe this EP, and he already has garnished a lot of industry attention locally and abroad.

Ross has worked with the likes of Daniel Johns, Chet Faker, Vera Blue, Wafia, E^ST, Thelma Plum, Nicole Millar, Ric Rufio, PLGRMS and many more.

The first single ‘get low’ is a collaboration with ‘Ric Rufio’ and is a brooding dance epic built for those that love to listen and those that love to dance.

What a debut! One of this year's most interesting producers, can tell we're going to be hearing a lot from you in the coming months.

Give this time, and it will give you plenty in return.

holy moly does this track deliver! I knew Ross was good but this has blown me away. And Ric Rufio's vocal is the perfect counterpoint to those heaving synths at the end. What an introduction.
