Party on Garth

Following the 60s inspired sprawl of Stones, The Vacant Smiles are back with So Tired of Sleeping In, another cut from album number three. Full with jangling acoustic guitars, woozy organs and ramshackle charm, So Tired of Sleeping In is a nugget of warped paisley-pop, that takes as many leads from the days of bowl cuts and lo-fi production as it does from the local noise coming out of Melbourne’s garage scene.

TVS album three will be out before the end of the year.

I love how The Vacant Smiles is able to capture that old school low-fi sound without sounding dated.
This song is rad and fresh AF!

I LOVE this band. This one's got a very full sound, it's like one big warm hug for your ears. I love the bit of twang, so charming.

this reminds me of my surf this morning, kinda gloomy and bumpy but still enough size and the longer i stay out the better it gets.
