Introducing Brisbanes best kept secret, brought together by musicians from the depths of Byron and Bribie here are The Vampers. Stroking his six string is Danny strumming out altered chords that make the hairs on the back of your neck sway in a mesmerizing dance and your body break out in a blanket of goosebumps. Cluthing his upright bass is Tom slapping out a tune so intense it causes coma victims to wake making millions of others turn to insanity. Hunched behind the drum kit is Camo choppin the skins in such a rhythm that makes the entire floor pulsate and bounce in an intoxicating groove. The Vampers came about when Danny(ex Bad Moon Company) and Tom(upright) decided they were tired of the lack of Rockabilly and Psychobilly music Brisbane had to offer. After travelling between Byron and Bribie they got some songs together and developed a unique sound for themselves, heavely influenced by the jazz stylings of Brian Setzer and the melodic fast pace of 90's skate punk.
