Bio

‘I’ll Follow You’ is the latest single from Fremantle indie rock outfit, Vancool. The release showcases an exciting and refined sound for Vancool, a sign of things to come. Mariani says “I never wanted to put a full stop on where Vancool’s sound would go. This new single, I feel, is the closest and most accurate representation of where Vancool is right now - it’s really exciting.”

Premiered via Pilerats, ‘I’ll Follow You’ was likened to modern-day giants; DMA’s and Catfish and the Bottlemen, stating that “Vancool are an act that everyone in Western Australia should be watching right now.”

“I'll Follow You feels destined for the festival stage.” - Pilerats

‘I’ll Follow You’ received its international premiere via Amazing Radio (US and UK), and received praise from Happy Mag, who described the release as “a glistening rock track that will transcend any musical preference.”

“One thing is for sure, we will be following Vancool wherever they go, desperately pleading for more music.” - Happy Mag

With sold-out shows across Perth, Vancool has continued a stellar run, having recently joined indie-rock heroes British India on their 5-night return to WA, closed out Fremantle's Hidden Treasures, secured the main support slot for Aussie rockers Eskimo Joe, and were invited to open for the legendary Hoodoo Gurus at Fremantle Prison in April 2021.

“An express train of power... fearlessly inventive and full of vim, vigor, and style, we look forward to hearing more.” - BuzzMusic LA

“Vancool are definitely going to be your next top listen” - LiveWire Music Australia

In support of the new single, Vancool has announced a South West tour - kicking off at The Aardvark, Fremantle on May 28.

May 28 - Aardvark, Fremantle
May 29 - Fire Station, Busselton
May 30 - Bungalow Neighbourhood Social, Dunsborough
