Vanity won the Triple J Unearthed competition to play SOUNDWAVE FESTIVAL 2010 in Perth. 'The Cast Shade' The first full length album from Perth Outfit Vanity will be released and available from July 12th 2013. Released through Arrest Records Australia and WhiteWinter Records. Vanity are an unsigned artist. Vanity's Discography: 13 track album 'The Cast Shade' (July, 2013) 2 track split with Safe Hands from Newcastle.(2012) 4 track EP ‘A Thousand Feuds’(2011) 8 track EP ‘Hitting Home’ (2010) 5 track demo 'vanity demo (2009) In a quick 4 years of existence the band has had the extreme privilege of playing over 100 shows and supporting such high profile international and national bands around Australia such as: Norma Jean (USA), Terror (USA), Converge (USA), La Dispute (USA), Defeater (USA), Blacklisted (USA), Backtrack (USA), Touche Amore (USA), Title Fight (USA), Ruiner (USA), The Chariot (USA), Burning Love (USA), Make Do And Mend (USA), No Turning Back (NL), Gold Kids (IT), Parkway Drive, The Amity Affliction, Deez Nuts, Carpathian, Confession, Hopeless, Phantoms, I Exist, Hand Of Mercy, Thy Art Is Murder, Nazarite Vow, Fires of Waco, Perth's own hometown hardcore heroes Miles Away, BLKOUT!, Break Even, The Love Junkies ect..
