Inspired by rockabilly, punk and good ole Aussie pub rock, The Vankeys are creating new music with an energy sadly lacking on today’s world stage. From artists Gene Vincent and The Stray Cats through to Greenday and AC/DC the group’s original brand of punkabilly pays homage to a decade that introduced The Living End and The Fireballs. Formed in 2010 by friends Mike and Deano and later joined by Shaun, the band is dedicated to pushing the envelope through passionate, high energy live performances that leave the punters with something to talk about. With an extensive catalogue of unique compositions and the brand new album “Boring”, the trio continue to perform on stages worldwide. From their hometown of Townsville Australia, to the U.S. and Europe, 2019/20 will see the group on the road doing what they do best – entertaining the masses with their own brand of rock n’ roll.
