Bio

Creating vibrant, acoustic tales since 2013, Velvet Bow set out to please the ear with their harmonic focus. Guitarists Luke Wood, Ben Wade and the lovely Emma Hurley together create a unique three vocalist lineup whilst being guided by the ever reliable percussionist Peter Angliss and new addition, bass player, Matt Bourke.

The combination of raw acoustics with the clean, smooth tubes of a classic Fender electric guitar and the roll of a traditional folk snare creates Velvet Bow's very own genre.

In June 2015 Velvet Bow released their new single 'Streetlights', following it up with their first ever tour from Aireys Inlet on the Great Ocean Road to Byron Bay, NSW. They look to head back into the studio to record their 2nd EP in late 2015.

Fantastic debut single. Brilliant songwriting and instrumentation, with huge vocals and harmonies to go with!
