Artist:Velvet Dreams and the Submarines

Velvet Dreams and the Submarines (VDS) are a duo made up of Fox Deroche – Jarrett (guitarist, producer, singer) and Holly Sweeney (keys, producer, singer). This young duo is making soft pop, dreamy, independent music from their school and home studio’s. Fox and Holly went to high school together and this is where the musical magic started. Holly and Fox bonded over their love of the same style of music and their enthusiasm for performing. The duo started out busking together around local villages on the Mornington Peninsula and at street festivals, and then progressing to gigging at parties, bars and wineries. Fox and Holly are now writing, recording and producing their own music with a smooth sound. This married together with a strong friendship helps them to create raw, genuine music.
