Velveteen was born in late 2014 and is the electronic indie solo project of Keira Jane Ephraims. Velveteen checked out early from her Modelling career and began her music journey after performing at East West Studios in Los Angeles, a creative haven which has housed the projects of Michael Jackson, Madonna and the Rolling Stones. She returned to Perth, Australia forming the five piece indie pop band that has been distinguishing themselves in the Western Australian music industry though their dynamic sound and versatile original music. Velveteen made it's industry debut in mid 2014 at the sold out Astor Theatre which has catered to artists such as Chet Faker, Kimbra and Cat Empire She soon teamed up with Producer Angus Dawson and released her first track " Mess" on soundcloud which reached over 20,000 hits in its first few weeks and continues to grow.
