Bio

Brothers Jake and Sam O’Brien have emerged in recent times to quickly establish themselves as “Melbourne’s folk-pop princes… Venus Court” (Beat Magazine). Hailing from the luscious, humid hinterland of the Gold Coast only a stone's throw away from the ocean, the O’Brien brothers effortlessly create thoughtful, beautifully crafted pop music which is as arresting as it is warm and breezy.

Venus Court have been back in the studio and have recorded their most compelling and dynamic work to date with their forthcoming EP. Lead single and sunny EP opener/heart
exploder Highlight Reel laments of better days, accompanied by a dreamlike Happy Gilmore inspired film clip.

Nice pastoral indie rock sounds from Venus Court. The brothers really kick up some dust with this one by the end - you aren't ready for the sax's arrival!

Breezy folk melodies, wandering gently til those striongs come in to add some unexpected sentimentality. I'm feeling it.

Digging those ultra smooth vocals. The voices together are harmonious. Keen to hear how you develop.
