Bio

This powerful Melbourne 10-piece have rocked crowds from the back alley bars of their home town to the red desert of Central Australia, to Far North Queensland and beyond.

Fronted by both the soulful ‘Vibemaster’ and the funk-evangelist and renowned master of ceremonies “The Irreverend Get-Down”, their signature sound is built on a foundation of deep funky bass and driving rhythms and features an explosive 5-piece horn section and an array of dynamic vocalists.

The Vibraphonic Orkestra are a ragtag bunch from all over the musical spectrum. A rich sonic assortment that’ll take you on an exotic funk odyssey from your street, to your dreams, to the dancefloor and beyond.

Since their debut release in 2012 they have been consistently gigging, building a
dedicated following in the local Melbourne scene and throughout Victoria.

In April 2016, the band released the first single on 7” vinyl as a taste of what’s to come from their forthcoming album.
