While adopting a Low-Fi sensibility and a DIY approach to recording Vice Like Grips sound unashamedly take stuff from 60’s pop, 70’s AM radio, OZ rock, post punk, new wave, NZ South Island, alt country, Indy, and a million other places. Expect to hear lots of la la la backup singing, a fair bit of guitar (sometimes in tune), and even the odd tambourine. Mostly the songs are short and mostly they are about the usual stuff. Andy Heaney sings, plays guitar, and whatever else is needed. Harry Heaney-Garzoli plays drums.
