Artist:Violet Pulp

Violet Pulp are Jess & Betty, a young Sydney duo formed in late 2008. Having won a competition run by Damien Gerard Sound Studios in April 2010 the band was given 10 hours of free studio time during which their EP 'Something New' was recorded and subsequently released in November 2010. Joy Division, The Stooges & PJ Harvey are listed as their major influences. The music can be described as moody, experimental, indie. Violet Pulp have performed at various venues such as World Bar, FBI Social, Spectrum and The Annandale while supporting our favourites, Fait Accompli & Sister Jane.
