Artist:Vultures of Venus

Melbourne independent band Vultures of Venus take inspiration from seedy and speedy urbanity to create their unique brand of Electro Glam Space Rock. Seemingly borne from the glam-infused wing of Britpop, Vultures of Venus is full of fuzzy stop-start guitars, glistening keyboards and affected vocal stylings. There is a sense of fearlessness to the sounds and themes that is rare to find in an Australian band. Their performances are influenced by some of the starkest, most danceable and lascivious music of last century.
