"Canberra's quintessential indie rock band" (BMA Magazine) return with another single (Charades) from their hilariously overdue second LP 'Prior Works'. Waterford make music with guitars bass and drums. They’re the older brothers with the good record collections who take their melodic smarts and offer jangling pop in easy three minute slabs. It’s post (grad) rock. Or Smithsonian indie. The sound of one band clapping. In 2011 Waterford released 'Say Ok', their debut LP. Arne Sjostedt of The Canberra Times said that "Waterford left me spellbound with its catchy phrases, engaging narratives and melodic hooks... this record is killer. Definitely a winner in my book".
