The album was born when Craig Harnath (Jet, Motor Ace) caught the guys playing at the Brunswick Hotel in early 2011 and was able to convince the band that himself and Jez Giddings at Hothouse Audio knew just how to capture Waverley’s energetic, grungy sound in a studio environment. Leading up to the release of ‘Challenger’, Waverley has kept themselves busy writing, producing and filming the music videos for the first two singles which got them steady play throughout October and December on ABC’s Rage and on the airwaves all around Australia on indie radio.
