“We Are Not Robots” have always had the skill of scale, making huger structures than a three-piece really should be able to. The scale’s still here tonight, but a with an added layer of riot, the sound of enormous buildings collapsing on themselves. A grand explosion.” - The Underground Stage.

Immediate, cathartic and aurally pummelling, the foursome have been carving their own niche as an unrelenting live band and a studio tour de force having released a slew of music in a short amount of time with 2 EP's, 4 singles and a free covers compilation (available on the band's bandcamp). Sticking very much to their punk DIY ethos, all of the above was self produced, engineered and released on their own label.

Veterans of the scene but still very much a new band, they are the musical lovechild of Shihad, Placebo and The Smashing Pumpkins with a sprinkling of The Bronx.

Genre hopping latest single, 'I Adore' is an anthemic fist in the face of a love song that is as brutal as it is beautiful with its pummelling rhythm section and razor sharp guitars intertwined with the most emotive vocal melodies of the band’s career.

Good times are on the way.

I Adore is out now EVERYWHERE!

Triple J

Tough and soaring garage rock from We Are Not Robots. Good stuff.
