Wicked City is three friends playing music together on the quest for eternal glory and maximum tone. They are slaves to the riff and yet they insist upon melody. Hark thee who liketh thou music not to sound the same EVERY SINGLE FUCKING SONG – for Wicked City’s only goal is to keep themselves entertained and politely distanced from whatever sux. They played their first gig in 2005 and haven't stopped since. They've toured around Australia four times from a Toyota Hi-Ace, played with some of Australia's best bands including the Hard Ons, Nunchukka Superfly, Fangs Of, Dad They Broke Me, Firewitch, HWCT, The Meanies and lots of others. In 2006 they released an EP called 'Authenticos Esquisitos'. Their follow up full length album 'Nothing Tastes the Way it Smells' from 2008 was released through Afterdark records, and led Unbelievably Bad mag to label them "Melbourne's best kept noisiest secret".
